At New Age Child Development Center, our Sensory Integration Therapy is designed to help kids make sense of the world around them and respond more appropriately to everyday experiences.
Sensory Integration is the brain’s ability to receive, organize, and respond to information from the senses — like touch, sound, movement, taste, or vision. When this process is disrupted, children may feel overwhelmed, anxious, hyperactive, or disconnected from their environment.
Therapy Goals:
Our sensory therapy is hands-on, play-based, and fun. Each child’s session is personalized and may include:
Swinging, jumping, and climbing to improve balance and movement processing
Weighted items and deep pressure tools for calming input
Messy play like sand, slime, or water to increase tactile tolerance
Movement games for better coordination and motor planning
Quiet spaces to help children learn to self-regulate
